About Us

From Mountains - to Camo - But now, Canvas!

Hi, my name is Taylor Tirado and Heber City sunshine may have nurtured my roots, but my adventures didn’t end there!

Ever since I was little, I’ve had a bit of a wild streak. I’ve always loved exploring nature’s
beauty and expressing myself creatively. However, that all got put on hold for 8 years when I joined the military right out of high school. I think my mother has finally forgiven me for that one, but it’s hard to say since I almost gave her a heart attack. But these days, my adventures involve wrangling our 3
rambunctious German Shepherd dogs and 3 very spoiled cats with my amazing husband.

But let’s talk about art!
Art has always been a gentle tug on my sleeve and a whisper in my heart. It started as a child with drawing birds and snakes, and all the wild things I found during my adventures. But when life got, well life-y,
art took the backseat. Thankfully, after hanging up my uniform, I discovered a
love for painting and have never looked back! Who knew expressing myself with color is way more fun than military cadences! ;)

Nature has been my constant
source of inspiration, from the majestic mountains to the playful streams. But even life’s challenges have found their way onto my canvas. Painting is my refuge, a place to unwind, tame the emotional beasts, find a calm center, and maybe even laugh at the chaos of 6 furry pets (seriously, how much fur can they possibly shed?).

When it comes to artistic style, I’m an acrylic and spray paint enthusiast, but think of me as a creative chameleon. I’m always up for a new adventure; exploring new textures,
techniques and keeping things versatile. I love being able to constantly adapt and evolve my artwork.

So, come check out my artistic journey! You might find a piece that reflects nature, or the strength that gets us through tough times, or maybe just the joy of a life filled with laughter, love and enough fur to make a sweater for a bear (with a little help from my husband, of course!).
